Also this painting is again derived from / inspired by photos, this time by two portrait photos of circus artists (a sword swallower & a trapeze artist) made by the New York photographer Diane Arbus. I have placed them in a kind of impressionist landscape, in the tree on the left is a "real" bird of paradise!
